Just in time for the start of spring, Smartmouth Brewing Company recently announced three new releases: Underestimated Power, The Legend of Heath and Sundial.
Back for its second year, Underestimated Power IPA is brewed in honor of International Women’s Day and the Pink Boots Society, a global nonprofit dedicated to advancing women in the brewing industry. This year’s Pink Boots Hop Blend is a smooth brew with tropical, herbal, citrus and woody aromatics, at 6.0% ABV.
Sundial is Smartmouth’s newest seasonal release. This IPA is inspired by the way young hops grow in a clockwise direction, reaching for the sun. At 6.2% ABV, Sundial features citrus, tropical fruit and sweet floral notes.
The Legend of Heath is a bourbon barrel-aged stout at 8.5% ABV that’s been brewed with cinnamon, vanilla, lactose and maple to release a French toast-explosion with every sip.
All three beers will be released on Friday, March 26 at the brewery’s Norfolk and Virginia Beach tasting rooms. Preorder begins on Thursday, March 25 online.
