In 1988 we were designated as the “official” oyster festival of the Commonwealth and maintain that title today.

The Floyd Center for the Arts is proud to announce our 29th Annual Winterfest and Festival of Trees! Join us on Saturday and Sunday, December 2 & 3, 10am-5pm, for a weekend full of holiday cheer. FCA will be hosting a variety of local art vendors, showcasing a robust sampling of media including handmade ceramics, painting, jewelry, fiber arts, wearables, woodworking, baked goods, and everything you’ll need to fulfill your holiday wishlist! Our Festival of Trees will once again invite our community to participate by sponsoring and decorating holiday trees that will be open for bids from the public. All proceeds benefit the Floyd Center for the Arts. Our Winterfest Cafe will also be open this year, serving up delicious soups and sandwiches for lunch while you shop!
