Perfect for the warmer temperatures, Virago Spirits’ Coco Verde cocktail recipe is a refreshing sipper that will transport you to a tropical island. Coco Verde was one of Virago’s most popular cocktails in March, so they added it to the April menu. You can make it right at home with the distillery’s Modern Gin, coconut cream and pineapple juice.
Coco Verde Cocktail Recipe
1.5 oz Virago Modern Gin
2 oz cinnamon-infused Crème de Coconut*
0.5 oz lime juice
0.75 oz pineapple juice
0.5 tsp matcha powder
5-6 drops Tiki Bitters
3-4 torn mint leaves
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain over crushed ice. Garnish with mint sprig, orange slice and a cinnamon stick.
*For cinnamon-infused Crème de Coconut: Heat one can of Crème de Coconut with 3-4 cinnamon sticks. Let cool and store in refrigerator. Good for one week.
